The goal of this 48-month project is to develop a portfolio of technologies to a higher efficiency and lower level of GHG emissions. The project will focus on improving the resource efficiency of the calcination and roasting processes along with process simulations in collaboration with AI data-driven models and digital twins.
The project’s kick-off meeting took place on 25-26 November 2024 in Athens, hosted by the National University of Athens, School of Mining and Metallurgical Engineering, one of the project's partners.
