The kick-off meeting of the project took place on 28-29 January 2025 in Athens, and it was hosted by the Institute of Communication & Computer Systems (ICCS), who is also coordinating the project.
The goal of this 48-month project is to develop a suite of innovative technologies, each targeting the enhanced recovery of valuable materials from low grade ores or extraction waste. This is achieved by offering pilot-scale recovery advancements, combined with digital platforms to optimize operation and decision support. Relevant accomplishments are blended with sustainability and resilience strategies to cover energy efficiency, water and waste valorization, market resilience and health & safety measures.
