Terna Mag, member of GEK Terna Group, is a producer and supplier of a wide range of high-quality magnesia products for industrial applications.
WHAT WE DO
We serve a broad range of industries around the world from battery metals, pulp & paper, refractories, construction materials to animal feed, fertilizers, chemicals and environmental applications.
Terna Mag's mining and industrial processing sites are located in the northeast of Euboea Island. We operate underground and open pit mines in Gerorema and Kakavos area with in-situ beneficiation plants. All mines are within a 15 km radius around Mantoudi processing plant where calcination and further processing takes place.
Our annual production capacity is 120,000 tons of magnesia products. The facilities include a Multiple Heath Furnace, a Rotary Kiln, two post-processing units, a large covered storage with capacity of 35.000 tons, a well-equipped laboratory among other supportive units.
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
We operate a sophisticated Quality Control and R&D laboratory with state-of-the-art equipment. The commitment to innovation of the highly qualified personnel makes possible the creation of new magnesium products and customized solutions for our customers.
We participate in prestigious European funded projects remaining at the forefront of the global technological advancements in geological exploration, mining, beneficiation, and calcination technologies.
